Affiliation: Federal University of Paraiba
Lecture Title: Multi-layered ferroelectret with piezoelectric-magnetic propertyPersonal CV: Ruy Alberto Pisani Altafim graduated in Informatics in 2003, from the Computer Science and Mathematical Institute (ICMC), University of São Paulo (USP). In 2006 and 2010, he received his master's and doctor's degrees, respectively, in electrical engineering from the Electrical Engineering Department of USP working on the development of measurement systems for thin piezoelectric films, such as piezoelectrets. During 2009, he worked at the Applied Condensed-Matter Physics at University of Potsdam, Germany, where in 2010 he developed post-doctoral studies. Since 2012, he has been working as Adjunct Professor at the Computer System Department from Federal University of Paraíba – PB, Brazil, where he teaches Electronics, Materials for Micro and Nano technology, and Sensors and Actuators. In 2017-2018, he developed post-doctoral studies at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at USP, working mainly with 3D printed functional materials. He has published more than 15 periodic papers in scientific journals and more than 40 complete articles in national and international conferences, published a book chapter, and coordinated research projects related to applications in piezoelectric sensors.
